Te Tuna Taone outdoor trip
Hi! This blog is about the long fin eel trip we had at the Heathcote river. It was amazing! We got to touch the slimy eels, learn about water invertebrates, make some eel art, go on nature walk and learn about pollution and how to stop it.
First at the water invertebrates, we learnt about the little invertebrates in the water and how they are used to determine water quality🐌.Second was the eel art. My group made an eel out of tree bits and flowers and grass. Next was the nature walk. It was fun walking around the river. fourth was the storm water talk. Last was the eels, they were awesome to see and touch. Then we came back to school from a great trip.
